The staff and administration of Short Hills Surgery Center have gone to great lengths to ensure that all of our patients receive the best healthcare and surgical experience possible.
Short Hills Surgery Center is a free-standing, physician owned, ambulatory surgery center. Accordingly, please take notice that the physician who will be performing your procedure may be an owner in the Center as a result of his/her commitment to quality healthcare and to provide better services to his/her patients.
The Short Hills Surgery Center is proud to participate with the following managed care companies: Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Jersey, United HealthCare, Oxford, Medicare, CIGNA, QualCare, CHN, FOCUS and First MCO. If your insurance carrier is not one of these companies, payment for your procedure will fall under the out-of-network benefit of your policy. If you have any questions regarding how your insurance benefits will be utilized at Short Hills Surgery Center, please call (973) 671-0563. A member of our insurance team will be happy to assist you.
Short Hills Surgery Center fees include items such as the cost of the procedure, operating room, supplies, equipment, medication, recovery care and, if applicable, overnight room charges. Our fees do not include charges from your treating physician, anesthesiologist, and ancillary services, such as blood work, pathology, and radiology.
